This week’s show features the exciting re-release of Black Uhuru’s first album ‘Black Sounds Of Freedom’ on Greensleeves Records in the UK. The album is produced by Prince (now King) Jammy originally released in 1977 titled ‘Love Crisis’, issued on his own Jammy’s imprint in Jamaica and features the original raw mix of the album. At the height of their success in 1981, the Love Crisis LP was re-released by Greensleeves Records titled ‘Black Sounds of Freedom’. It was re-mixed by Prince Jammy to suit current trends featuring syndrum overdubs and some great horn chart additions.

The brand new re-release of the album features both mixes in addition to 3 original U Black dj cuts. 23 tracks in total!!
