Similar to 'Pressure Drop' in its presentation, this street level
publication is possibly the most influential of all reggae fanzines. Few
reggae fans and writers would not have read it at some point. The early
issues had a certain appeal with their ramshackle aesthetic that gave them
the vitality of a political monograph. The writing rises above the vacuous
'one love' platitudes that can creep into much reggae music criticism.
